Rizzoma RoadMap—We Need Your Input

On January 27th we have released beta of our service. It had minimal necessary functionality we needed for context discussions. This is the 6th issue of our RoadMap—October. Many things are done, something is delayed due to interface polishing. Now we have reached required stability and perfomance to focus on new features. Keep up with the updates!

RoadMap oct update copy Rizzoma RoadMap—We Need Your Input

Rizzoma is a team communication service and is most useful for mass discussions, but many users prefer to use email for some reasons. In some cases we set up our users to force their colleagues to use our unusual interface. Therefore we decided to implement more cooperatation functions for the usual tools.

Firstly, email answers to a mention will be adapted. As soon as we test the automatic replies from emails start posting and composing new discussions, we will think of other ways to conjuct Rizzoma with the tools familiar to our users.

So far our service has not reached MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and we aim to make more simple and clear features required by our users.

I just discovered you! Well done. I look forward to the android app. In the meantime i’ll start a collaboration on rizzoma

I’m looking forward for the app too. But while you wait try the mobile site. While I usually try to stay away from mobile sites for services like this one, their mobile site is very well done.

Hi, this project looks quite promising.

There are a few things that interest me are:
    - it says rizzoma is open source:
      – are the sources public (I’ve seen only 3 small repos on github)?
      – does it mean it is (will be) available for private intranet installs?
      – under which license it is published
    - will it be possible to have a rizzoma account without having a google account?

    Thanks!

Hi, great that you interesting in our source. Now we published about 40% from our code here is the topic with discussion: http://rizzoma.com/topic/a5a8bfa0ced5ab2611cf5e365673a558/

Yes we are going to make provate installs but after core functionality will be ready,   we called it “box version”. see our roadmap.

We make other possibilities of authorization in couple weeks.

Cross-linking posts is a very useful feature that appears to be missing from the roadmap. This will allow wiki-style multi-part waves.

Support for Opera browser would be appreciated.
Otherwise it looks very interesting and I wish all on the project well with it.

would be nice to to see a buddypress plugin, i.e, allow wordpress / buddypress users to integrate Rizzoma into their own social networks one way or another

Need support for internet explorer desperately…. Government provided laptops in Australia are locked into using Internet Explorer. I really would like to use this service for school assignments and the like.

Rizzoma added support for IE 9 and 10 a week ago.
